Rebecca Calleja is the founder and creator behind Bużżieqa Ħamra, where every piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted in Malta.

After graduating in Fashion, Rebecca chose to specialise in hand embroidery, combining her passion for design with a deep appreciation for slow, traditional craftsmanship. Her creative journey also included presenting her own collection at Malta Fashion Week, further shaping the vision behind Bużżieqa Ħamra.

Every creation is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted from the first sketch to the final stitch using carefully selected, high-quality fabrics and materials. Stitched entirely by hand, one stitch at a time, each piece reflects Rebecca’s dedication to craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality. Whether creating a personalised gift, a keepsake, or an everyday accessory, Rebecca approaches embroidery as a form of drawing with thread, transforming fabric into thoughtful pieces designed to be cherished for years to come.
